Very interesting book! I was going to give it 4 stars, but I found myself thinking about the characters long after I finished reading it, and I always count that as an extra star. The descriptive writing was wonderful-I could really picture all the scenes. I had a hard time relating to the main character at first, but warmed up to her as I went along. A lot of the book covered rough topics-sexual abuse, ptsd, etc. but also triumphed the resilience of the human spirit. I also enjoyed the title and how you go from thinking this one is the stray, to that one, and change again at the end.
